I'm so excited to be part of the exhibition QUEERIOSITY 🏳️🌈
the LGBTQIA+ community told through 20 words, illustrations, and texts.
the LGBTQIA+ community told through 20 words, illustrations, and texts.
I was assigned a word that is both delicate and deeply meaningful:

[Starting in the 19th century, it began to be used as a derogatory epithet against sexual minorities (with the meaning of strange or bizarre); beginning in the 1990s, first in the United States and then gradually worldwide, it was provocatively reclaimed by some activists and thinkers as a marker of political identity.]
Here’s the short story by Tobia Rossi that inspired me to illustrate the hunger for redemption, the eccentricity, and the strength of those who simply can’t be boxed into the rules of a society that only sees in black and white.
